I assumed Lewis was in “assistant-for-life” mode. Dude’s had stops at Texas Tech (GA under Knight), Stephen F Austin, Eastern Illinois, Butler, Nebraska, and now UCLA.
He’s also the only IU player I’ve ever seen yell back at Knight during a game and live to tell about it. Plus he sports a huge, bald melon, a look I identify with.
Anyway, I assume Hoosier brains are hoping for the best for him in the new role, just in case IU has a job opening in the near future.
