Hell of a game, Hoosiers. Not a 'classic' UK team by any means, but they still roll out about 10 5-star recruits. I liked how every UK counter punch got a return punch that kept them honest. Wasn't our squad's best shooting night by any means (credit to UK's D for some of that), but still managed to get it done. Now go get RoJo and Morgan healthy.
The women's team also won tonight, beating Georgia at Notre Dame. The ladies take on the top seeded domers on Monday. Game should be on the ESPN family of networks somewhere. Take some time to check them out.
And one of our swimmers won a national title tonight as well.
Damn it feels good to be a Hoosier.

The discord at the beginning of the season for the Hoosiers in my view had to do with the fact that the guards/wings weren't getting Thomas Bryant involved (Commish go back to my anguished texts!!). He is a matchup nightmare - a center with an offensive arsenal. Once Blackmon went down (another player who needed the ball) there was more of an effort to include Bryant and now he is a beast. I like Indiana to beat North Carolina and advance to the Eight where they will play on paper an inferior opponent. LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!

Not sure I agree with that...other than Blackmon's loss has certainly allowed Indiana to improve defensively and I honestly think Blackmon and Ferrell and Williams cannnot co-exist. So, in this way it allows the ball to go in to the post a bit more and that helps.
At any rate, Xavier and inferior opponent to who? Indiana or UNC?
X is a great team with solid guard play and an absolute beast in Trevon Blueitt. But, they have two games to win yet....and we certainly have one. I really felt UK was a bad matchup for IU, but Crean had Indiana very prepared for what they were going to face. While we got a lot of bad Troy in this game, having him handle the ball and allowing the shooters to space out the floor was absolutely brilliant. Not sure how he's going to handle a bigger and frankly better frontcout in UNC, but he's got four days to prepare and hopefully a healthier RoJo and Morgan will factor positively into the mix.

I like it...just remember I said UNC is a much better team than UK with a more formidable and skilled front line. Probably the best team left in the tournament
