Hell, it's tourney betting season. Why not...

Similar to the Sweet 16 auction, this one allows you to bid/bet on who will be IU's next head coach for men's basketball.

I'll keep a running list of candidates and updated bids on this post. $10 max bid on any candidate. $1 minimum bid. Bids must be in increments of a whole dollar (no $1.25 bids, Ed).

There will be a 'field' bet that's available for 20% of the final pot, payable upon contest end. If no one wants to claim it before the end, I'll buy it. The field will include any name not mentioned or bid on during the contest.

Feel free to recommend names to add.

To get things started, here are the names on a couple IU message board "hot boards" along with a few additions of my own:
